Our Beatrice ring is an unabashed statement of style, confidence and the fulfilment of your dearest wishes.

Black Onyx, a stone of happiness, good fortune and most importantly strength, increases concentration and determination, and will undoubtedly bring grounding, focus and control to its owner. 

Hannah met Beatrice through one of her sons, who proudly told Hannah about his mother being the first female miner in Sri Lanka.

Hannah couldn’t wait to meet Beatrice and immediately went to visit the mine. When Beatrice first opened her business, every single man in the Sri Lankan mining industry told her to shut it down. There is a lot of superstition that goes with mining; rituals and prayers are carried out on the land and still today women are seen as bad luck.

But Beatrice believes that in life you should only listen to the universe – and now she is the boss of a mine as well as being married with three children.
All of her children work for her and she still lives modestly, in spite of the size of sapphires that are pulled from the mine.

The mine has shared ownership with all of her employees and Beatrice cares for them like family.

For orders placed before 7am AEDT, we endeavour to process the same business day. Orders placed after 11am AEDT will be processed the next business day.

You can choose between a refund or a credit note on full priced items.
